Introduction
The 1710A is designed to provide high fidelity amplification and theft detection
for premium headphones, and sound docks. The 1710A has several options
that govern the behavior of the headphone demonstration. In distribution mode
(
see table on page 4
), all outputs are active all the time. In switching mode, only
one of the four outputs may be active at any time. Larger switching systems,
linked by system bus and audio patch cords, can either allow one live position on
each 1710A, or the entire system can be limited to one active position at a time
(
see Feature Switch settings
