The audifon dry star UV uses the continuous circulation of warm
air at a constant temperature inside the housing for gentle,
sustainable drying of your hearing aids. At the same time the
UV-C used by the unit light kills 99.9% of all common germs.
Operation of the audifon dry star UV is fully automatic with
very low energy consumption levels. At the end of the drying
program it switches itself off. The
drying station is operated
with a single sensor
button that is simple
to use.
9.1 Drying hearing aids
Hearing aids should be dried after use every day and particularly
after cleaning. If you dry your hearing aids carefully, this will
greatly increase their service life. You can proceed in one of two
ways. If you have an audifon dry star UV or dry go drying station,
you can use this for drying. Please see the relevant info sheet
for further details. Alternatively, you can dry your hearing aids
in the audifon pro care Drying-Tub using an audifon Drying-
Capsule.
