2.7.1 PCI Express PM Function

 

This filed allows you to enable or disable system wake up by PCI Express PME 

(Power Management Event). 

2.7.2 ACPI Function

 

The choices are “Enabled” and “Disabled”. 

 

2.7.3 ACPI Suspend Type

 

This item allows you to set ACPI suspend type to S1/POS(Power On Suspend) or 

S3/STR(Suspend To RAM). 

2.7.4 Run VGABIOS if S3 Resume

 

Select “Auto” to run VGA BIOS if S3 resume automatically. The “Yes” enables 

running VGA BIOS if S3 resume. The “No” disables this function. 

2.7.5 Power Management

 

This category allows you to select the type (or degree) of power saving and is 

directly related to the following modes: 

•     HDD Power Down 

 

•     Suspend Mode 

There are three selections for Power Management, and they have fixed mode 

settings. 

Saving Mode

 

 

Min Saving 

Max Saving 

User Defined 
(Default) 

2.7.6 Video Off Method

 

Use this to select the method to turn off the video. The choices are “Blank 

Screen”, “V/H SYNC+ Blank”, and “DPMS”. 

 

2.7.7 Video Off In Suspend

 

When the system is in suspend mode, the video will turn off. The choices are “No” 

and “Yes”.
