Problem

The unit does not detect or red LED
does not light.

The units detects only occasionally.

False Alarm

Red LED lights with no alarm output

LED blinks (once per second)
sending alarm output.

Possible Cause

Blocked by partitions or other objects.

Dip switch 1 is OFF.

Intruders (moving objects) do not cross
field of view.

Installed too close to electrical noise or
wired too close to the power or power
line.

Sudden temperature fluctuation.

Direct sunlight or intense headlight.

Fax or other electronic machines are
within coverage.

Controller is not armed.

Disconnection, poor connection, short or
poor insulation of the wire.

Alarm output is connected in parallel with
other outputs of the unit.

Self-diagnosis is active due to the
malfunction of the unit

Remedy

Remove the blocking objects.
Readjust coverage.

Turn the switch ON.

Readjust coverage so that intruders can
cross the field of view.

Relocate the unit.
Change the wiring route.

Remove heat source.
Readjust coverage.

Readjust coverage
Block the light with blinds.

Readjust coverage.

Arm the controller.

Check with a tester, and then fasten
terminal screws securely.

Wire in series with other outputs.
Use only one unit in one loop.

Replace the unit.
