Se il tappo Provox Plug appare sporco o è stato
fatto asciugare all’aria in una zona a rischio
di contaminazione, il dispositivo deve essere
pulito e disinfettato prima dell’uso. Il rischio di
contaminazione può esistere se il dispositivo
è caduto a terra o è entrato in contatto con un
animale domestico, con un individuo che abbia
contratto un’infezione respiratoria oppure
con altre fonti di contaminazione grossolana.
Durante la degenza in ospedale, è importante
pulire e disinfettare il tappo Provox Plug dopo
l’uso ma anche
prima
dell’uso, in quanto
esiste un maggiore rischio di infezione e di
contaminazione del dispositivo. In ospedale è
meglio utilizzare acqua sterile, anziché acqua
potabile, per pulire e sciacquare il dispositivo.
