6.2. EMERGENCY TOWING

In the event of an engine failure or machine malfunction, the machine can be towed once the
brakes have been released.
This operation is reserved only in the event of an emergency when the machine must be
moved.
The platform must be returned to the stowed position and empty of all occupants.

1- Chock the wheels.

2- Remove the rear axle covers.

3- Loosen the brake release flanges.

4- Using a screwdriver, remove the cap at

the back of the hydraulic motor.

5- Install the flange and fully tighten the

screw on the brake piston, then tighten
the counternut to pull the piston and
release the brake. Repeat this operation
on the four hydraulic motors.

6- Using the appropriate equipment, tow the machine at slow speed, on level ground only.

7- Once towing is completed, chock the wheels of the machine and remove the flanges to

restore braking.

6.3. POST-INCIDENT INSPECTION

Following any incident, thoroughly inspect the machine and test all functions and safety
systems. Raise the platform by more than one meter only if all damage has been repaired and if
all the controls operate correctly. If in doubt, contact your dealer or the manufacturer.

CAUTION

AFTER  THE  MACHINE  HAS  BEEN
REPAIRED,  IT  IS  IMPERATIVE  TO
REINSTALL  NEW  CAPS  ON  THE
