PPPoE/PPPoA
PPPoE (PPP over Ethernet) is an ADSL connection known
as dial-up DSL. As the PPPoA it has been created to
integrate large band services paying a particular attention to
an easy configuration. The user can obtain an high access
speed and he can also share the same account with the ISP.
No additional software are required. This configuration is
valid in case of a subscription with a static IP and active NAT
(SUA) (for the managing of the public class turn to the CD
handbook). Let’s see how to configure correctly this kind of
ADSL configuration.
Insert
Username and Password and make sure that the
parameters are, in case of PPPoA , the ones in the picture, if
not specifically shown by the ISP.
