Problems Encountered
Checks to be made
The device does not heat
- Ensure that the main circuit breakers are closed or that the overload
cut-out has not cut off the supply to the advice.
- Check the air temperature in the room : if it is too high, the heating
light

does not come on: the device does not heat.
- Switch your heating
OFF
and then
ON
again with the mode selection
wheel

• If the indicator light

flashes constantly (
continuous flashing
): the
measuring sensor is defective. Contact the manufacturer’s local After-
Sales service in order to replace it.
- Ensure that the device is not locked in the Frost-Free position.
- Check that the device is not locked onto a low temperature. If this is
the case, unlock the device and increase the temperature using the
temperature setting wheel

The device heats all the
time
- Check that the device is not located in a draft or that the tempera-
ture setting has not been changed.
- There may be a fluctuation in the electricity supply. If you experience
a problem (
thermostat
locked, ...
), cut off the electricity supply to the
towel-dryer (
via the fuse or circuit breaker
) for approx. 10 minutes and
the switch it on again.
- If you encounter the same phenomenon frequently, have your power
supply checked by your local utility.
- Check that the device is not locked onto too high a temperature. If
this is the case, unlock the device and reduce the temperature using
the temperature setting wheel

The

You have locked the device and someone has tried to alter its operating
mode.
- Either unlock the device to stop the light from flashing and repro-
gramme it for the desired function,
- Or check the position to which the mode selection wheel
