1.2.6. Backup & Restore
This webpage can be used to make and restore backups of the ipPBX. The date,
time and compatibility version of the ipPBX backup is displayed.
There are four buttons to control the backup process:

Backup - Used to record the settings that exist currently. The recording is
held in a backup file on the ipPBX. A new backup overwrites the current one.
The “backup” feature protects against misconfiguration.

Restore - Used to apply the settings that existed at the date & time of the
ipPBX backup.
•
Copy - Used to copy the backup file from the ipPBX to your PC for future use.
Multiple backup files relating to the settings at different dates and times can
be copied to and stored on the PC. The “copy” feature protects against
hardware failure.

Replace - Used to return a backup file from the PC to the ipPBX. The backup
file from the PC overwrites the one on the ipPBX.
