5. ATTACHING GAS METERS
ATIM can provide a cable (ref. CAB/MTRGAZ1) with the following features to connect to gas meters
with an IP40 M16 connector:
6-wire shielded cable with a 20 AWG cross section and 2 metres in length.

6. ATTACHING OPTICAL SENSOR IN ‘ELEC’ MODE
The ACW/XXX-MR1-ELEC reference is delivered with a Fludia optical sensor (4-wire cable, 30
centimetres in length).
IMPORTANT: The weight of the pulses is different at the sensor output (1 output pulse = 5 input
light pulses).

7 Red Meter 1 +
8 Green GND – Meter 1
8 Yellow GND – Power
NOTE: In MR1- ELEC mode, the ‘METER 1+’ signal must be connected to the ‘ CNTR 1’ input.
Powering an external sensor will reduce the product’s lifespan.
