JACK & HOLD PROGRAM
This program is started by selecting the “Adjustment
with car lifted” option from the
F11
menu
.
It allows the vehicle characteristic angles to be adjusted
with the axle concerned lifted, by first locking ("freezing")
the value displayed for the vehicle lowered, so that the
variation caused by the lifting operation is ignored.
Proceed as follows:
- with the vehicle lowered, select the “Adjustment with
car lifted” option from the
F11
menu to
lock (freeze) the values;
- lift the vehicle;
- press
F3
to confirm vehicle lifting;
- carry out the adjustment;
- select from the
F11
menu
he “End of adjustment with car lifted” option to lock
(freeze) the values again;
- lower the vehicle;
- press
F3
again to confirm vehicle lowering;
SERVICE PROCEDURE SCREEN
The service window is accessed by selecting the “Service
Programs”option from the
F11
menu of the
aligner program main window.
A list of the options available is displayed:
• Demo;
•
Target Test;
•
Technical Assistance;
Select an option and press Enter to access the procedure
chosen.
Demo
Select the “Demo” option and press enter to enable/
disable the program in demo mode.
Target cannot be used in demo mode, all values viewed
are random.
Enabling/disabling of this function is indicated by an
icon
in the lower right-hand corner of
the job window.
UNAUTHORISED USES
It is forbidden to use the aligner for any purpose other
than measuring the characteristic alignment angles of a
vehicle (see the “Characteristic Angles” section).
WARNING
Use of the aligner for any purpose other than its
original function releases the manufacturer from
all responsibility for any damage or injury that
may result.
It is recommended to use the Personal Computer installed
in the central unit only with the programs supplied by
the producer.
CAUTION
The software in the HARD DISK and in the upgrade
CD ROMs are the property of the producer and can
be used only with the personal computer supplied
with the machine.
CAUTION
It is highly recommended not to use the Personal
Computer for games or with other software based
on unauthorised copies, to avoid reducing system
as well as people's safety.
This is mandatory to avoid any possible contami-
nation from computer viruses.
In any case, it is recommended to have and authorised
Technical Service Centre to control the compatibility of all
original software not supplied by the producer.
CAUTION
Do not remove the Personal Computer from its
installation position to avoid damaging the con-
nections.
