Back Up Your System

When to use

We recommend that you use the following guidelines to determine
when to back up your system:

■

If you have a tape drive, perform a full system backup and
a shutdown of the UNIX system twice a month.

■

If you do not have a tape drive, back up the /usr/g3-ma
directory onto floppy diskettes twice a month.
