User scales 

※

 

In addition to the refractive index and Brix scales, the instrument is equipped with a 
programmable user scale feature, which enables concentrations of different samples 
to be displayed directly. Simply program 3 to 5 concentration data points and 
corresponding refractive index values, and the instrument will convert the readings 
automatically. Refractive index is affected by changes in temperature. Program the 
data points at the standard temperature (see page 35 "Selecting a user scale"). 

 

Special scales

The instrument comes pre-programmed with 23 of the most commonly used 
concentration scales (see page 35 "Selecting a special scale"). 

 

Creating New SCALE

Touch the uppermost 

available row and touch 
"EDIT.
