Weather compensation settings calculation
All these settings below calculate the ideal heating line for this specific property. For the Heating type,
Building Insulation Level and the Building Size.
Thermoregulation offset
Where a ONE
Zone
controller is fitted the front display gives and thermoregulation offset temperature
of ± 14 for high temperature systems and ± 7 for low temperature systems. This offset setting can
alter the flow temperature being produced by the boiler by the adjusted amount.
For example
If the boiler has a heat line ‘C’ which is ‘Heating type – Radiators’, ‘Building insulation level
– Average’ & ‘Building size – Average’, then when the outside temperature is 5.0°C the flow
temperature will be 51°C. Therefore if the thermoregulation offset was set to +4°C then the adjusted
flow temperature will be 55°C.
