Switching on
1.
Place a pan on a cooking zone.
2.
Press the “key” button.
A single beep will be heard.
3.
Press the on-/off button of the desired cooking zone.
A flashing ‘-’ appears on the display and a single beep can be
heard. If you do not undertake any further action, the cooking
zone automatically switches off after 10 seconds.
4.
Slide with your finger over the slide control (clockwise) or tap
with your finger on the slide control to set the desired setting.
The hob automatically starts in the chosen setting.
Setting the power
Set a higher or lower power by sliding with your finger over the slide
control or by tapping on the slide control. The power can be set in
12 different levels.
Switching off
Switching off one cooking zone
Press the on/off button of the cooking zone you want to switch off.
You will hear a beep and the slider switches off.

If all cooking zones have been switched off in this way, the hob
will automatically be in the stand-by mode (also refer to ‘stand-by
mode’).
Switching off all cooking zones
Press the “key” button to switch off all the cooking zones at the same
time.
You will hear a beep. The red childproof lock indicator next to the “key”
button will blink very slowly.

The ceramic hob is now in eco stand-by mode (see also ‘eco
stand-by mode’).
Residual heat indicator
The used zone can remain hot for some time after having been used.
An “H” remains on the display as long as the cooking zone is hot.
