APPENDIX B
Firmware updates
Ethernet based 3020s can be updated from the ATP web-server. See the ATP
Manual for instructions.
Fastnet
3020’s can be set up and updated via Bluetooth.
Preparation
1. A terminal emulator program such as TeraTerm or HyperTerminal is
required.
TeraTerm
is
recommended
and
is
available
at
https://osdn.net/projects/ttssh2/releases/
2. Download the Bluetooth Uploader files and the latest version of Analogue
https://www.aandtinstruments.com/support/downloads/
3. The Bluetooth Uploader VX.XX.zip file contains two files which must be
extracted to the same Folder:

A+T Uploader VX_XX.exe
▪
InTheHand.Net.Personal.dll
4. Turn on the 3020 Bluetooth
4.1 Ensure the system is powered OFF
4.2 Disconnect the Fastnet data wires (either green or white) from the
3020
4.3 Power ON the system.
4.4 The 30
20 will display “
PAIR
” within 10 seconds and display its serial
number in the top line. It is now ready to pair.
4.5 You may set the Bluetooth to remain always ON
– see the Bootload
instructions below
To pair with your Windows 7, 8 or 10 PC:
1. In Windows 10, select Settings > Devices
> Bluetooth & other devices, then select
“Add Bluetooth or other device”
2. Select the AT3020 identified by the serial
number
3. When requested, enter the PIN: 1234
4. The 3020 is now connected to your PC over Bluetooth
5. Navigate to Windows Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right click on
the paired device, click on Properties and note the COM port number in the
Hardware tab.
