Asystems Remote Panel

The remote panel software can be found on the Asystems
website (www.asystems-sys.com) by navigating to the
Downloads page (or the AV500HD product page). To

run the software, simply extract the archive file and run

AV500HD.exe.

Connection is simple, but does require you to know your

AV500HD’s IP address. If entered manually, find this in
the Config > Network submenu of the AV500HD.

Enter the IP in the appropriate box on the top left-hand
corner, enter an appropriate port number (default should

suffice) and hit connect.

It’s important to note that any buttons not present on the
AV500HD will not function on through the software either.
For example, the PGM and PGT sections only feature 5
buttons a piece, meaning 6 to 10 within the software are
essentially non-functional. The same is true for the wipe
pattern buttons that aren’t present on the AV500HD.

The software can also be connected by using the COM
port on the rear of the AV500HD. If your computer has
an RS232 connector, the COM port can be connected
directly. If it does not have an RS232 port, an RS232 to
USB adapter can be utilized to connect to the computer.

Asystems does not advise user’s utilize the control
software as their main control surface, but instead utilize it
as a great addition to help simplify or expand your existing
setup.
