Normal is perfect for everyday computing tasks such as browsing the web or working with
documents. It is the factory pre-set, which has been through ASUS’s careful calibration to
offer clear, accurate colours whatever you’re doing.
• Vivid is great for working with pictures or when you want the colours on your E402 to be
brighter and more saturated. Vivid Mode instead of simply boosting overall saturation,
checks the screen pixel by pixel and converts the colour with an advanced colour table.
While other manufacturers will simply increase the saturation, ASUS technology creates a
richer and more natural image.
