ASUS RS700D-E6/PS8, RS702D-E6/PS8, RS704D-E6/PS8

9. Connect the SATA/SAS cables

to the SAS1–4 connectors on the

PIKE riser card.

10. Align the riser card bracket to

the PCI Express x16 slot on the

motherboard.

11. Press the riser card bracket until

the golden fingers completely fit the

slot and the bracket aligns with the

rear panel.

12. Temporarily remove the two system

fans in front of the center mylar.

13. Move the

SGPSEL1

jumper on the

SATA/SAS backplane to 2–3. If you

install two PIKE riser cards in the

chassis, move both the jumpers.

14. Place the two system fans back to

their default positions.
