5. Secure the heatsink with the
retention clips.
a. Insert the center hole of a
retention clip into the center tab
on the retention mechanism.
b. Slightly move the clip to the right
so that the center tab is
positioned on the narrow side of
the hole. This ensures that the
side holes fit on the side tabs.
c. Press one end of the clip to snap
its hole on the right side tab.

d. Press the other end of the clip to
snap its hole on the left side tab.
This secures one side of the
heatsink.
6. Follow step 5 to install the other retention clip, and completely secure
the heatsink.
