14.  SAS connector (blue, 7-pin SAS1, SAS2, SAS3, SAS4, SAS5, SAS6, 

SAS7, SAS8)  

(For P5BV/SAS model only)

This motherboard comes with eight Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) connectors, 

the next generation storage technology that supports both Serial Attached 

SCSI and Serial ATA. Each connector supports one device

To connect the SAS cable:
Plug in the SAS cable to the SAS1-8 connector until the cable snaps in place
You must use 8 PORT SATA to SAS cable (8 to 8) if you use SAS hard 

drives. Else, you can use SATA cable if you use SATA hard drives.
