USB 3.1 gen1 ports.
The Universal Serial Bus 3.1 gen1 (USB 3.1 gen1) ports connect to
USB 3.1 gen1 devices such as a mouse, printer, scanner, camera, PDA, and others.
• DO NOT connect a keyboard / mouse to any USB 3.1 gen1 port when installing Windows ®
operating system.
• Due to USB 3.1 gen1 controller limitations, USB 3.1 gen1 devices can only be used under a
Windows
®
OS environment and after USB 3.1 gen1 driver installation.
• USB 3.1 gen1 devices can only be used as data storage only.
• We strongly recommend that you connect USB 3.1 gen1 devices to USB 3.1 gen1 ports for
faster and better performance for your USB 3.1 gen1 devices.
USB 3.1 gen1 Type-C® ports. The Universal Serial Bus 3.1 gen1 (USB 3.1 gen1) Type-C®
ports connect to USB 3.1 gen1 Type-C® devices.
The output voltage of the USB 3.1 gen1 Type-C® ports is 5V, 0.9A.
Microphone port.
This port connects to a microphone.
Headphone port. This port connects to a headphone or speaker. Supported by ASUS
Audio Wizard.
Headset hanger. Press to open the headset hanger (with maximum load up to 1kg)
and hang your headset here.
