Benutzerinformation Canvaro STS
Basic safety instructions.
The Canvaro stand-up/sit-down desk may only be used and operated when in perfect working order and in compliance
with the Information for Users.
The user undertakes to comply with the safety regulations and warnings in the Information for Users at all times. The
generally applicable and local regulations concerning accident prevention and protection of the environment must be
observed in addition to the Information for Users.
Nonconforming use of the product (i.e. for purposes other than as office furniture) can cause danger to life and limb, as
well as property damage. Nonconforming use is therefore prohibited, and the company ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL
GmbH & CO. KG cannot accept any liability for injury, damage or losses occurring in such cases. The warranty for correct,
troublefree operation of the system components is also extinguished in such cases.
The following uses are likewise prohibited: Lifting loads, use as a ladder or lifting platform, use as a permanent storage
area for weights of more than 75 kg, use out of doors, use in damp rooms.
Note that the desk may only be connected to power supplies with the voltage specified in the technical data and/or the
manufacturer's label.
To prevent malfunctions, repairs may only be carried out by authorized repair shops or by our suppliers' service personnel
(contact through ASSMANN BÜROMÖBEL GmbH & CO. KG in Melle).
Duty period per hour not more than 6 minutes, or 2 minutes continuous duty under full load. Exceeding the maximum duty
period can considerably reduce the service life of the system. The motor, brake and spindle nut may overheat.
Ensure that none of the cables have been damaged during transport. Defective parts must be replaced immediately with
equivalent new parts.
WARNING: DESKLINE products are not resistant to cutting oils.
WARNING: Beware of major malfunctions and injury when opening DESKLINE products. It is prohibited to open the
motor casings, control unit and Desk Panel.
WARNING: Liquids must not be allowed to leak into the plug connections –risk of short-circuiting.
WARNING: A minimum distance of 25 mm must be ensured from adjacent objects. Beware of injury due to crushed
limbs.
WARNING: This product is not intended for use by persons (including children) with limited physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or with little or no experience and/or knowledge, unless they are being supervised by a person
responsible for their safety or have been instructed on the product's use by that person. Children should be
supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.
WARNING: If the enclosed power cable (with plug and socket) is damaged, it must be replaced by an equivalent new
cable (same voltage and current rating).
Risk of electric shocks: Always disconnect the desk from the mains supply before starting any maintenance or cleaning.
