1.
Assemble support and long (#8-32 x 1-1/4")
screw into case approximately 2 turns. See
illustration for your installation type.
2.
Install short (#8-32 x 5/16") screw into case as
shown approximately 2 turns. See illustration
for your installation type.
3.
Place removable insert in unused cover
opening.
4.
Slide cover into gap between flange and
screw head.
5.
Position cover and tighten screws.

Door must be open to adjust spring closing power.
Use 5/8" wrench or socket to turn screw. Refer to
chart.
Do not use a power drill. Warranty will be
void.
Adjust closing time speed between 3 and 6 seconds
from 90° to Close. Greater closing times may be
required for elderly or handicapped.
Adjusting door to close due to high draft conditions
may exceed ADA standards. Consult local
ordinances when fire doors are involved.
