mFlipLock standard
The mFlipLock standard (Fig. 1) is a panic/security/multipoint locking system with mechanical unlocking,
three bolts and three flip latches with noise insulation. Flip latches enable the door to be opened even
under high initial loads.
The lock can be retracted mechanically during unlocking and then the flip latch is then released.
The lock is suitable for fire doors and smoke doors except product 24544PE-SV-TF.
The lock is tested according to EN 179 and EN 1125 and can be used on emergency exit doors or panic
doors in combination with the tested fittings.
The lock’s mechanical self-locking feature (all products with SV suffixes) is activated when the door is
closed and guarantees automatic locking at all times (“Self-locking function”, page 43).
Additional features
· Day mode can be mechanically activated.
· Mechanical self-locking mechanism.
· Burglar resistant due to single-turn bolt extension of 20 mm. Tested to RC3 in suitable door element.
· The lock is suitable for fire doors and smoke doors except product 24544PE-SV-TF.
· Tested for doors with emergency exit locks according to EN 179 and doors with panic door locks accord-
ing to EN 1125.
· Suitable for rotary cylinders and free-wheel cylinders. Not suitable for external bolt contacts.
