How to mount the electronics in the face plate
If the electronics are to be hidden in the door, mount the electronics in the face plate. Please note the
following:
· Use the installation example as a reference „4.5.1 Für Montage im Stulp“, Seite 32.
· The door must be milled out according to the dimension drawings of the selected face plate housing.
· To clip the electronics onto the face plate, break off the tabs of the base plate at the target breaking
points. If you have broken off the tabs and want to mount the electronics in the fitting afterwards, order
a replacement base plate, see„8.4 Optionales Zubehör“, Seite 58.
· Mount the face plate housing with 2 M4 screws and 2 stretching thread inserts.
· If the distance between face plate housing and cylinder is greater than 0.5 m, use a connection plug
and an extension cable to connect the face plate housing to the cylinder, see„4.4 Kabel verlängern“,
Seite 30.
· The electronics operated with 12 V or 24 V can be controlled via a built-in relay with various devices.
· You can network the electronics with KESO KEKnet.

4.2.3 Electronics EK.015
Electronics EK.015 is battery-operated and intended for installation in the stainless steel security long
escutcheon.
Installing the electronics in the stainless steel security long escutcheon
If the electronics should not disappear into the door but should not stand out, mount the electronics in
the stainless steel security long escutcheon. Please note the following:
· You can choose between 4 versions of the stainless steel security long escutcheon: EG.086, EG.087,
EG.088 and EG.089. The functionality is the same for all versions. The designs differ in terms of protective
devices and masses. The protective devices are described in the section "Product characteristics of the
stainless steel security long escutcheon". For dimensional drawings of the individual versions and door
handles, see„8.1.3 Elektronik EK.015“, Seite 47.
