2.8 Smart Switches
The motherboard has six smart switches: Power Button, Reset Button, Clear CMOS
Button, Retry Button, Safe Boot Button and BIOS Flashback Button, allowing users
to quickly turn on/off the system, reset the system, clear the CMOS values or flash
the BIOS.
Power Button
(PWRBTN1)
(see p.9, No. 11) Power Button allows users
to quickly turn on/off the
system.
Reset Button
(RSTBTN1)
(see p.9, No. 10) Reset Button allows
users to quickly reset the
system.
Clear CMOS Button
(CLRCMOS)
(see p.11, No. 18) Clear CMOS Button
allows users to quickly
clear the CMOS values.
Retry Button
(RTY_BTN1)
(see p.9 No. 12) Reset Button allows
users to restart system
immediately when the
system needs to be forced
shutdown.
Safe Boot Button
(BFG_BTN1)
(see p.9 No. 9) If press this button, the
next boot of the system
will use BIOS default
setting.
