3.8 Server Mgmt (Server Management)

System Event Log

Enter to configure System Event Logging features during boot.

BMC Network Configuration

Enter to configure BMC Network parameters.

Configuration Address Source

Select to configure BMC network parameters statically or dynamically(by BIOS or BMC).
Configuration options: [Unspecified], [Static] and [Dynamic].

Unspecified

: BMC network parameters are configured by BMC itself.

Static

: Manually enter the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway Address in the BIOS for

BMC LAN channel configuration.

Dynamic

: IP address, Subnet Mask and Gateway Address are automatically assigned by

the network's DHCP server.

To configure BMC network parameters using the BIOS setup, select either [Static] or
[Dynamic] option.
To configure BMC network parameters using the BMC web interface, select [Unspecified]
option.
