4. FUNCTION
4.1. GENERAL NOTES
CAUTION:
The drawer is to be kept close. The inbuilt magnets will hold the drawer close to the the housing.
For best operation of the cabinet make sure the time in which the drawer is open stays as short as
possible!
• The inside temperature fluctuates around the value set. This fluctuation is not caused to defect.
The control unit has to detect a fluctuation to go active.
• The refrigerator defrosts need-based, even if the temperatures in the cabinet and the vaporizer are
at factory-made parameters. The deforsting and connected, momentary temperature increse of the
cabiinet interior have no effect on the temperature of the stored fluids, because these react much
more inactively to temperature variations. The defrost process is audibly through a loud click and is
concluded through adjusted temperature values again.

5.2. FAULTS AND ACTIONS
FAULT
PROBLEM – ACTION
NOTE - please observe!
A
• 7-digit display is off
• LED air flow (C2): short flash
every 20 seconds
• Signal sound every 60
seconds
Problem
: Power failure
Actions:
Check power supply at the mains socket and
restore if necessary
OR
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. Check the two fine-wire fuses in the C14 socket
3. Replace them by identical fuses if necessary.
In the case of a power failure lasting longer than one
hour, the internal battery (emergency power supply) is
switched off to protect it against total discharge. After the
battery switches off the display and signal sound are also
switched off! After the power is restored the refrigera-
ting underbench cabinet starts normal operation again
automatically. The battery is charged up again.
B
• Air flow alarm (C2) lights up
• Warning sound 30 seconds
Problem
: Exhaust air flow rate has fallen below the mini-
mum required rate (e.g. filter clogged, fire damper closed)
Actions:
1. Press button to end the warning sound
2. Unplug the mains plug
3. Have the necessary volumetric flow restored by a
ventilation expert
Once the exhaust is working again, close the drawer and
plug the mains plug into the socket again.
If the battery was switched off, the refrigerating under-
bench cabinet performs a self-test once again.
C
• "rSF" on the display
Problem:
Preset nominal temperature value was not
reached.
Action
: Increase the nominal temperature value (see 4.2)
Refer to Errors if this does not solve the problem
:
D
“rSF” appears on the display as soon as the nominal tem-
perature value has not been reached within a preset time
and the compressor has been switched off. In order to
prevent this, ensure during the initial commissioning that
the refrigerating underbench cabinet is opened as infre-
quently as possible. Excessively high ambient temperature
and humidity can also lead to this error. The nominal
temperature value must then also be increased.
D
• "rSF" on the display
Problem:
The evaporator is iced up. The nominal
temperature value was not reached.
Action:
1. Unplug the mains plug.
2. The evaporator can thaw out.
3. Disconnect the device from the mains for at least
24 hours.
4. After that, plug the mains plug in again. Increase
the nominal temperature value (see 3.2), so that
this can be reached and icing-up can be avoided
Under standard conditions the icing-up of the evaporator
is not possible. Make sure that you select the nominal
temperature value on the basis of the external environ-
ment in such a way that it is possible to reach it.
E
• "AL1" on the display
Problem:
Temperature in the interior is higher than max.
Action:
1. Close the drawer if it is open!
2. Check the compressor. If it is off, contact
CUSTOMER
SERVICE!
See point 9!
