Entering macros into the card file
Macros are treated like card file entries, i.e. the name of the macro is entered under
Name
,
and the actual macro under
Number
(Note: use upper case letters when entering under
Number
!). All functions applicable to card file entries can also be used for macros, e.g. ”search”,
”VIP”, ”delete” etc. (see also ”Setting up the card file”, Page 18.
Activating the macros

Select the desired macro from the card file.
If you want to forward all calls on MSN A to your mobile phone on Tel 079 123 45 67,
you can simplify the procedure using macros. You have two options:
Either:
– Program call forwarding as described under ”Call forwarding”, S. 31 ff, but do not
activate the function.
– Now set up a new card with the name ”Forward A to mobile”.
Enter the command DA under Tel.
– You can define and save this card as a VIP.
Now the text
Forward A to mobile appears in the VIP display.
If you now press the relevant Display key, call forwarding is activated from MSN A to your
mobile. Another key-press deactivates call forwarding
Or:
– Set up a new card with the name ”Forward A to mobile”. Enter the command
DAF<079 123 45 67> under Tel.
– You can define and save this card as a VIP.
Here too the text
Forward A to mobile appears in the VIP display. If you now press
on the relevant Display key, call forwarding is activated from MSN A to your mobile. Ano-
ther key-press deactivates call forwarding.

You can also combine various macros provided the following rules are observed:
– To combine numbers and commands you must always begin with H1 and end with H0. (H1
means seize the line and corresponds to lifting the handset. H0 means clear the line and cor-
responds to replacing the handset).
– If you wish to send DTMF signals, you must identify them with an F.
– If you want to send keypad signals, you must identify them with a K.
