During the call, 1 connection
Internal inquiry
With the internal key
i
you can confer
with other internal subscribers or transfer
a call (see "Internal calls").
External inquiry
By pressing the fox key below
R
the active
call partner is put on hold. An inquiry to an
external subscriber can be initiated (see
"During the call, 2 connections").
Mute switch
M
If you do not want your call partner to hear
you (for instance when you confer with
someone in the room), you can switch the
handset microphone to mute.
Menu in communication state
Under "

"the following functions are
available:
Parking
You can park a call for approx. 3 minutes
and during this time retrieve it from an-
other telephone. If you want to resume the
call with your handset, select the menu item
"Unpark" from the main menu "Suppl.
services".
Open listening at the base
station
During an outside call you can switch on
the loudspeaker on the base station. Other
people can now listen in to the call. This
function can only be activated from the
handset, to prevent any uncontrolled open
listening at the base station.
Note:
The "+" or "–" key on the base station
can be used to adjust the volume to seven
levels. When you have finished with open
listening, the volume level is reset to the
basic setting.
The loudspeaker is switched off automati-
cally when the call has been completed,
i.e. after pressing the Connect key.
If feedback occurs (audible whistling in the
loudspeaker), move away from the base
station with the handset or turn down the
volume.
Open listening is possible with outside calls
only.
