9 Conversion to other types of gas
The appliance can be converted to use other types of gas. The conversion must be performed by an
authorised installing company and carried out in compliance with locally applicable regulations. To do
this, the appliance is to be completely disconnected from all electrical supplies and close the gas supply
valve in the customer's extent of supply.
The technical possibilities are listed in the "Nozzle Sets" table. Material can be ordered according to the
table from Customer Service or dealers. The use of nozzles other than those authorised for the
gas/supply correction pressure leads to destruction of the appliance and to health hazards for the
personnel (CO emission).
The gas adjustments carried out in the factory are given on the gas type plate. Subsequent conversions
to other gas types or supply pressures must be entered permanently and legibly on the gas type plate of
the appliance. Such labels are enclosed with replacement nozzle sets. Only use special nozzles obtained
from Customer Service or dealers!
