The Main Edit Menu reappears.
Returning all values to their defaults

At the Main Edit Menu, press Ctrl-D.
The Main Edit Menu’s DO menu appears.

Select D (Diagnostics).
The Diagnostics screen appears.

Type
fclear
.
This command clears flash memory. Flash memory stores a copy of the configuration.

Type
nvramclear
.
This command clears nvram and resets the box. Nvram stores the current configuration.
The MAX comes up in the default configuration.
Configuring the Ethernet profile
To configure the Ethernet profile, proceed as follows:

From the Main Edit Menu, select Ethernet > Mod Config.
The Mod Config menu appears:
