Group Security
To set group security:
1
Select the group for which security is to be set by click-
ing on it once on the front panel image.

Click
Security
.
The Group Security table appears, similar to Figure 3-18.

Open the
Security Status
drop-down menu and select
On
.
This sets security for the group; any node that is heard on
the group, which is not allowed on this group, will cause
the action specified in the
Sec Violation Action
menu.

Open the
Sec Violation Action
menu and select the
action to occur if an unauthorized node attempts to
access the group.
See “Security” on page 4-11 for a description of each vio-
lation action.

Click
Apply
.
Security for the group is configured.
Click
Refresh
to view updated information.
