Oil pressure switch
Warning
If the device, while in use, stops in steep
terrain or the engine cuts out, the device
can roll away.
► Immediately actuate the parking brake to
prevent the device from rolling away.
The oil pressure switch ensures that the en-
gine is not damaged when the device is used
in steep terrain.
The oil pressure switch switches off the engine
when damage to the engine may occur due to
lack of oil pressure. This may occur when:
– Oil level is too low.
– The device is in too steep a sloping position
while in steep terrain.
How steep the gradient for the oil pressure
switch to switch off the engine may be de-
pends on the engine type, direction of inclina-
tion, and the oil level.
In order to restart the engine, let the device roll
to terrain that is less steep while in idle state.
In every case, check the oil level.
