SAFETY SYSTEM
• After the coffee has finished brewing, the heating base works for up to
40 minutes to keep the coffee warm, after which the appliance switches
off automatically.
• Waterless Operation Protection: If your appliance operates without water,
the thermostat is activated and turns off the machine by cutting the
power. In such a case, unplug the appliance from the mains and allow the
appliance to cool down completely
CLEANING
• Before cleaning, always turn off the main switch (on/off switch) of your
appliance, always unplug the plug from the socket and allow the appliance
to cool down.
• You can hand wash the glass carafe, filter and filter housing of your
Arzum Filter Coffee Machine. NEVER immerse other parts in water or
wash in the dishwasher.
• Drain the water from the water tank. It is recommended to use fresh
water for each use.
• Do not clean any accessories of your appliance using harsh and
chemical cleaners (bleach, salt spirit, etc.).
REMOVING LIMESCALE
If the water in your area is hard, limescale will build up in your machine
over time and the lime deposits will prevent it from working well. Regular
descaling prolongs the lifetime of your appliance and ensures optimum
coffee brewing results over a long period of time. It is recommended to
descale your coffee machine every 50 uses. Follow the steps below to
descale the device:
When descaling your appliance;
- You can use 2 cups of white vinegar,
- You can use a descaler suitable for your coffee machine.
• Pour the mixture into the hopper and start the coffee machine (without
coffee).
• Wait for a cup or so to pour into the carafe, then stop your coffee
machine
• Wait two hours for it to take effect.
• Turn the coffee machine on again to complete the flow.
