Switching from C° to F° and vice versa
The thermometer can measure temperature
in Celsius and Fahrenheit. To switch from one
mode to another press the on/off button for
5 seconds when the thermometer is off, then
press again to switch to the other scale.
Instructions for use
1. Put a new cover on the probe.
2. Press the on/off button. The last recorded
temperature will appear on the display. No
temperature will be displayed if it is the fi rst
time a measurement is being taken.
3. When “Lo” appears on the display, the
thermometer is ready for use.
4. Place the sensor on the
tip of the probe under
the tongue, as close as
possible to the tongue’s
hot spots (see fi gure
1). Keep mouth closed
for a more effective
measurement.
5. The measurement is
fi nished only after 4
beeps are emitted (which last for approxi-
mately 10 – 15 seconds).
6. Remove the thermometer from the mouth
and read the measurement on the display.
