Do not operate the system in high humidity
areas or expose it to water or moisture.

Do not place the system on an unstable cart,
stand, tripod, bracket, or table. The system may
fall, causing serious personal injury and
damage to the system or other objects.

Operate the system using only the type of power
source indicated in the manual. Unplug the power
cord by gripping the power plug, not the cord.

Never insert objects of any kind into the any part
of the system through openings, as the objects may
touch dangerous voltage points or short out
parts. This could cause fire or electrical shock.

Unplug the system from the power outlet before
opening any part of the system or before
making any changes on the systems, especially
the attaching or removing of cables.

Do not use solvents to clean.

Do not remove any screws which are secured
with paint!

Clean optical surfaces only with a lens brush or
a clean lens cloth! In cases of solid dirt moisten
a lens cloth with pure alcohol.

Never place your hand in the lens mount
receptacle or the inside of the camera or
magazine while it is running.

The control panel of the IVS must not be operated
using hard ord sharp-edged tools, e.g. screw-
drivers.

• In order to ensure optimal performance, it is essential

that you acquaint yourself with this instruction manual,
and the manual of the ARRIFLEX 535B.

• Use the IVS 535B only with ARRIFLEX 535B cameras,

and only as described in this manual!

• Assembly and initial operation should only be carried

out by persons who are familiar with the equipment!
