This safe is meant to protect your objects of value and your documents
in the event of a possible fire. Due to its heavy weight, it is advisable to
place it on firm flooring.

B.1. BATTERIES INSTALLATION AND OPENING
• Extract the battery compartment located outside the safe, at the lower
part of the keyboard, and place 4 alkaline batteries of 1.5 V.
• Press the * key. A beep sounds and a green LED flashes.
• Enter opening code ( initial master-code is 1-2-3-4-5-6)
• Every key pressing is confirmed with a beep sound and a green led
flashing. If the key is not pressed over the course of 10 sec. the lock will
switch off and the operation must be repeated.
• Press ENTER
• While the green led is flashing, turn the handle counter clockwise and
open the door.
• If the typed code is incorrect 2 beeps sounds and a red LED flashes
during 5 seconds. In this case, start the operation again.
• The safe allows up to 3 erroneous code entries before it is blocked for
5 minutes as a security measure. During this time, it is not possible to
use the keypad. During the blocking period the red LED on the keyboard
flashes in 5 seconds intervals.
