reason is that the
plastic parts used in your iron expand by heat. This case is quite normal
and will disappear
after the first one or two uses.
Filling the water tank:
Unplug the device.
Set the steam control button at “0” position. (=steamless ironing)
Open the tap of the water filling inlet.
Fill the water tank up to the maximum level while the iron is in the
horizontal position or in a
position where its front side is slightly upright like (diagram 1).
We recommend you to use distilled water if the tap water in the region you
are located is very
hard. Don’t use water whose de-scale has been removed chemically.
Fill the water tank up to the MAX (maximum) level.
Don’t put perfume, vinegar, coke, de-scaling agents, the agents to help
ironing and other
chemical matters into the water tank.
Close the tap of the filling inlet.
Don’t fill water in the water tank beyond the MAX. indicator. Otherwise your
iron may leak
water.
If you need to put water in the iron again while ironing; unplug your iron
necessarily.
After your ironing operation finishes, set the steam control button at 0
position.
After your ironing operation finishes, empty the water remaining inside
your iron.
In the first operation, start at a low temperature every time.
Setting the temperature:
It is normal that a little fume comes out in your first use of the device. This
state will stop after
a little while.
Before starting the ironing operation; always look at the product
maintenance label on the
things (shirt, pants etc) you will iron. What temperature to iron is mentioned
there.
If product maintenance label is not available and you know the type of the
fabric, you may
make benefit of the following table while choosing the temperature of your iron.
PRODUCT MAINTENANCE LABEL FABRIC TYPE TEMPERATURE SETTING
Synthetic * Low temperature
Silk-wool ** Middle temperature
Cotton-linen *** High temperature
Never iron
Before starting to iron, classify the things you will iron (woolens, cotton
velvets etc). Then start
ironing operation from the group that requires the lowest temperature.
If the fabric consists of the raw materials requiring different ironing degrees
of temperature;
ironing degree of temperature must be set according to the raw material
requiring lower
degree (for example; if the fabric consists of polyester and cotton, it must be
ironed at the
setting of polyester requiring low ironing temperature).
If you don’t know what kind of fabric the dress is made of, determine the
correct ironing
temperature by ironing a part of the dress that is not seen when you wear.
In order to avoid the formation of bright stains on silky, woolen and
synthetic materials, iron
the fabric back. In order to avoid the formation of stains, abstain from using
the spraying
property.
The device must be plugged into an earthed socket.
Place the iron on its heel and ensure the required iron temperature by
turning the
temperature control button to its appropriate position.
When the temperature light is off, wait for a while before starting to iron.
The temperature
light will be on and off time to time during ironing.
Steam Ironing:
1. Before starting steam ironing, be sure whether there is sufficient water in
the water tank.
2. Set the temperature control button at its recommended position.
3. Set the steam control button at the appropriate steam position.
For less steam (temperature settings •• / )
For much steam (temperature settings ••• / )
Note: When the determined temperature is reached, the iron will start to omit
steam.
Steamless Ironing:
1. Set the steam control button at 0 position.
2. Set the temperature control button at its recommended position.
Spraying Function;
In order to remove the creases, you may use spraying property at all
temperatures.
1. Be sure that there is sufficient water in water tank.
2. Press several times on the spray button to moisten the fabric to be ironed.
Shock Steam:
A strong steam spraying helps to remove the creases.
Steam spraying function only operates at the temperatures between **-MAX.
1. Press on the shock steam button and release.
Vertical Steam:
1. Shock steam function may also be used when you hold the iron at a
vertical position. This
processing is used to remove the creases found on the dresses on the hanger,
curtains etc.
WARNING: Never direct the steam towards people and animals.
VALID FOR ANTIDRIP MODELS
NOTE: The property of stopping water dripping is available in this iron. The
fact that the water
enters into the soleplate without reaching a certain temperature has been
blocked by means of a
valve. When the iron reaches the required temperature, the valve is
automatically opened and the
iron starts to generate steam. And when the temperature falls down, the valve
is closed.
E.CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before starting to clean your iron,
Switch off your iron.
Unplug your iron. Let it cool down well.
WARNING: Never immerse your iron in liquids such as water to clean it.
De-scaling:
1. Remove the calcification developed in your iron every two weeks. If the
water in your residing
region is very hard (for example, if particles fall from the soleplate during
