PREPARATIONS
Actions Before First Use
1. Check that all parts of the product are supplied. Compare to section “Parts Designation” on page
10.
If
any part is missing or damaged - do NOT use this product.
2. Read the IFU.
3. Disinfect the product according to section “Cleaning and Disinfection” on page
19
.
4. Choose a designated area, where the IFU should be kept and easily accessible at all times.
Actions Before Every Use
1. An assessment on the suitability for transferring a patient who is connected to electrodes, catheters or
other medical devices should be conducted by quali

ed personnel before performing any transfer.
2. The help of a second caregiver has been assessed for each individual case to avoid any violent impact
during transfers.
3. Perform a functionality test according to section “
“Care and Preventive Maintenance” on page 20
.
4. Make sure the straps are properly fastened.
5. Make sure the transfer procedures outlined in this manual are followed.
6. Make sure the straps used in transfer are cleaned and maintained according to the section “Care and
Preventive Maintenance” on page

of this manual.
