Strap Inspection
WARNING
If the strap inspection reveals any signs
of irregularities, stop using the strap. The
expected service life of the Dual-Loop
Attachment Straps is two (2) years. If you
have any doubts about the strap’s safety,
replace it with a new one. Continual use of
a damaged strap can seriously compromise
the caregiver’s or patient’s safety.
Check the Dual-Loop Attachment Strap for:
A. Middle wear, rip or hole on the strap. See Fig 26.
B. Noticeable discolouration or stain resulting from
the use of bleach or other chemicals. See Fig 26.
C. Edge wear (fraying). See Fig 26.
D. Loose threads in stitched area. See Fig 26.
Verify the manufacturing date label found on the
strap to make sure that the strap has not exceeded
its life span.
