Start-up procedure
Press the ON/OFF button on the control panel
to switch on the boiler: the display will light up.
The initialisation procedure - indicated by the
bar - begins.
Once the procedure is completed, the display
will visualise the temperatures set for the
central heating and domestic hot water
circuits
(display confi guration: boiler base)
.
The boiler will request the setting of the
date, time and language. Proceed as
indicated in the USER MENU paragraph of
the “User Operating Manual”.
From the USER MENU it is possible
to choose between diff erent display
confi gurations:
a - boiler BASE -
default confi guration
b - boiler COMPLETE

The complete visualisation mode provides the following
additional information compared to the basic mode:
- indication of the plant pressure
- visualisation of the burner ignition
- descriptive text of the various operations performed by the
burner
- indication of the post-circulation functions
(domestic hot water and central heating)
Initial procedures
To guarantee safety and the correct operation of the appliance,
the boiler must be prepared for operation by a qualifi ed technician
who possesses the skills which are required by law.
Electricity supply
- Check that the voltage and frequency of the electricity supply
correspond to the data shown on the boiler data plate;
- Make sure that the earthing connection is effi
cient.
Filling the hydraulic circuit
Proceed in the following manner:
- Open cold water inlet tap;
- Lift the cap on the automatic air relief valve on the circulation
pump;
- Gradually open the valve under the boiler
- Open each air release tap starting with the lowest point and close it only
when clear water, free of air, is visible.

Clause the valve under the boiler when at least 1 bar registers on
the pressure gauge.
Gas supply
Proceed in the following manner:
- make sure that the main gas supply uses the same type of gas as
indicated on the boiler data plate;
- Open all doors and windows;
- Make sure there are no sparks or naked fl ames in the room;
- Make sure that the system does not leak fuel using a cut-off valve
inside the boiler itself which should be closed and then opened
while the gas valve is disabled. The meter must not show any
signs of gas being used for 10 minutes.

Una vez acabado el proceso de inicio, el
display muestra la temperatura ajustada
para la calefacción y agua caliente sanitaria
(confi guración display: caldera base).
La caldera solicita el ajuste de la fecha, la hora
y el idioma. Procesar como indicado en el
parágrafo MENU USUARIO.
Desde el MENU USUARIO es posible elegit
entre 2 opciones:
a - caldera BASE - confi guración de fábrica
b- caldera COMPLETA.
El modo de visualización completa indica más información:
- indicación sobre la presión de la instalación
- visualización del encendido del quemador
- texto descriptivo de las diferentes funciones posibles de la
caldera
- indicación de las funciones de recirculación (sanitaria y
calefacción)
Preparación para el servicio
Para garantizar la seguridad y el correcto funcionamiento de la
caldera y para que la garantía tenga validez, el primer encendido lo
debe realizar un Servicio de Asistencia Técnica autorizado.
Alimentación eléctrica
- verifi que que el voltaje y la frecuencia de alimentación eléctrica
coincidan con los datos contenidos en la placa de la caldera.
- verifi que que la conexión respete la polaridad L-N;
- verifi que la efi ciencia de la conexión a tierra.
Alimentación de Gas
Proceda del siguiente modo:
- verifi que que el tipo de gas suministrado sea el mismo que el
indicado en la placa de la caldera;
- abra las puertas y ventanas;
- evite la presencia de chispas o llamas directas;
- verifi que la hermeticidad de la instalación de combustible con la
llave de paso ubicada en la caldera cerrada y luego abierta y con
la válvula de gas cerrada (desactivada), durante 10 minutos el
contador no debe indicar el paso de gas.
Llenado del circuito hidráulico.
Proceda del siguiente modo:
- abra las válvulas de seguridad de los radiadores de la instalación;
- afl oje la mariposa de la válvula automática de alivio ubicada en el
circulador;
- abra gradualmente el grifo de llenado (no se suministra con el
aparato sino como accesorio) de la caldera y apenas sale agua,
cierre las válvulas de seguridad del intercambiador principal y de
los radiadores;
- cierre el grifo de llenado de la caldera cuando la presión indicada
en el hidrómetro sea de 1 bar.
