5.5 Fixing the gateway onto the wall
Once all the electrical connections
between the Gateway, the
temperature regulation accessory
and the Ariston/Cha ff oteaux heating
product have been completed, you
can conclude the installation by
fi xing the gateway onto a wall or
support base.
The gateway has earned IP X4D
certi fi cation, however we do not
recommend that it is installed in
locations with little protection and
subject to weather conditions and
other external agents that could
cause damage.
You can install it on a smooth surface
using the double-sided tape or install
it on the wall using the wall plugs
and screws supplied in the package.
Note: before mounting the gateway
permanently, we recommend that
you complete all connections
and perform the fi rst ignition and
con fi guration.
WARNING!
Before applying the double-sided
tape, you should clean the surface
thoroughly with solvent and dry it
thoroughly.
