IMPORTANT WARNINGS

READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY

When using electrical appliances there are precautions that need to be taken including the following:
• Make sure the voltage of your mains power supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the rechar-

ger data label.

• Do not use the appliance when empty.
• Do not use the appliance to chop overly hard food (ice cubes for instance).
• Never use the appliance if the power cord or plug are damaged or if the appliance is faulty; in this case,

take it to your nearest Authorised Assistance Centre.

• The use of extension leads not authorised by the appliance manufacturer may cause damage or accidents.
• To prevent any risks, all repairs and/or replacement of the recharger or of the power cord, must be per-

formed by an Ariete Assistance Centre or by a similarly qualified person.

• This appliance complies with the EEC 89/336 Directive with regard to electromagnetic compatibility
• The appliance operates by means of rechargeable batteries, therefore on replacing them do not throw

them out among normal waste but  take them to the nearest Assistance Centre so that they can be sepa-
rated and disposed of in suitable waste containers, in compliance with the environmental protection and
recycling laws. Never throw batteries into fire.

• Do not leave the appliance exposed to the weather (rain, sun, etc.)
• 

NEVER LEAVE THE APPLIANCE WITHIN THE REACH OF CHILDREN OR UNABLE PERSONS

• Do not place the appliance on top of or near sources of heat.
• Make sure the power cord does not come into contact with any hot surfaces.
• 

DO NOT PLACE THE MOTOR BASE, THE PLUG OR POWER CORD IN WATER OR INTO

OTHER LIQUIDS, CLEAN USING A DAMP CLOTH.

• 

NEVER TOUCH THE PARTS WHEN THEY ARE STILL ROTATING OR IN USE.

• This appliance has been designed for HOME USE ONLY and must not be used for commercial or indu-

strial purposes.

• In the event that you decide to dispose of the appliance, we advise you to make it inoperative by cutting

off the power cord. We also recommend that any parts that could be dangerous be rendered harmless,
especially for children, who may play with the appliance or its parts.

• Packaging must never be left within the reach of children since it is potentially dangerous.
