7. FUNCTION
Solenoid Valve Operation
●
In the refrigeration circuit containing compressor 2 (CM2), the operation of the two solenoid valves (SVA and
SVB) are synchronized and controlled by the thermo. ON signal of the indoor units.
●
Opening both of these solenoid valves (SVA and SVB) makes the two indoor units (indoor unit A and B) operate.
Opening just one solenoid valve makes only one indoor unit run (either indoor unit A or B).
●
3 minutes timer controlling the operation of compressor 2 (CM2), starts counting as soon as the thermo. ON
signal is generated by indoor unit A or B.
●
Compressor 2 (CM2) stops only under the condition when both indoor unit A and B have been stopped.
●
Once the compressor stops, it will not start running again for at least 3 minutes even there has been an ON
signal from one of the indoor units.
●
In order to save compressor power, solenoid valve C (SVC), which is used as a bypass valve, opens only when
either of indoor unit A or B is operating while it closes when both indoor unit A and B are operating.
Model AER522QC is not provided with solenoid valve C (SVC).
