12.2 "FAULT RECORD" Menu
Fault records are stored in the non-volatile memory with the time of the fault to the
accuracy of 1 ms. A total of 5 such latest events are stored. In case of power supply
failure, this information is saved in the backup lithium battery.
When the available record space is exhausted, the relay will automatically overwrite
the oldest record, to accomodate the new record.
The fault records are available for viewing either via the frontplate LCD or remotely,
via the communications ports.
Local viewing on the LCD is achieved in the menu column entitled « FAULT
RECORD ». This column is described below :

RECORD NUMBER

Description : This selects the required fault record from the
possible 5 that may be stored.
Range : 1 – 5, step = 1.
Note : a value of 5 corresponds to the latest fault and so on.
FAULT TIME
10 : 45 : 22 : 12
Description : time of the fault with an accuracy within 1ms. The
time of the fault recorded will be the time at which the protection
algorithm gives a trip/alarm order.

Description : date of the fault recorded will be the date at
which the protection algorithm gives a trip/alarm order.
