UPGRADE Page

Use the 

UPGRADE

 page to update AresGate's firmware from a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) server. 

You can perform firmware upgrade by following the steps below: 

Step 1.

In the 

FTP Server IP Address

 field, enter the IP address of the FTP server where the new firmware file 

is located. The default FTP server IP address is 

63.197.240.8

. The FTP server should allow anonymous 

login. 

Step 2.

In the 

File Name

 field, enter the file name of the new firmware that you want to load and install. Please 

check ARESCOM website for the latest firmware filename.

NOTE: The firmware image file must be placed in the root directory of the FTP file server.

Step 3.

Click 

Upgrade

 to begin the firmware upgrade process. When the upgrade is complete, AresGate will 

reboot automatically. Click 

Cancel 

if you do not wish to upgrade the unit.
