Before every restart, fill the pump with pumped liquid until it overflows. Switching on
without water filling destroys the pump.

Solution
The electric motor is running,
but the pump does not suck in
water or too little at low
pressure.
- The pump body is not filled
with water after starting the
pump.
- The suction hose is not tight
enough or is leaking.
- The filter sieve of the check
valve of the suction inlet is
blocked.
- The air cannot escape from
the compressed air hose
because the water outlet is
closed.
- The waiting period does not
comply with the regulations.
- Too large suction height (over
23 ft (7 m)).
- The check valve does not suck
in water.
- Suction line clogged by
impurities.
- Pump clogged with impurities.
- Suction line too long.
- Diameter of the suction line
too small.
- Suction line not immersed
deep enough in the medium.
- Fill the pump with water.
- Check the recommended and
used parts and components of
the pump, e.g. the connection
of the suction hose, the
connection of the pressure
hose, the clamping ring, the
suction hose itself, etc. and the
sealing strip made of teflon or
hemp rope. The pump can only
work with absolutely tightly
sealed connections.
- Clean the check valve of the
suction inlet and the filter
sieve.
- Open the water outlet (e.g.
the water faucet, sprinkler
nozzle, etc.) when the pump
starts working.
- Fill the entire suction hose
with water or check it again at
least 7 minutes after starting
the pump.
- Select the suction height
smaller.
- Check the water level of the
reservoir. If possible, extend
the suction hose.
- Clean the pump. Check the
filter in the suction line and
replace if necessary.
- Clean the pump. Check the
filter in the suction line and
replace if necessary.
- Change the installation of the
pump.
- Replace the suction line.
- Make sure that the suction
line is always sufficiently
immersed in the fluid to be
pumped.
