Construction
2.1 Control before use
•
The jack must be inspected for any oil leaks and/or loose, damaged or missing parts before
each use.
•
The owner/user must always ensure that repairs can only carried put by a suitable specialist
or authorized dealer.
2.2 General instructions
Oil level check:
•
Lower the jack completely so that it is in an upright position and loosen the bleed screw. Top
up hydraulic oil if necessary.
Lubricate the important internal parts:
•
Move the hand piece a few times to ensure good distribution of the lubricant. The valve
screw is open.
Bleed the hydraulic system
:
•
Air may get into the hydraulic jack system, e.g. during transport. This impairs its function and
the jack must be vented. To bleed, close the bleed valve tightly and pump the jack upwards
two to three times without load until it stops. Then drain again.
3. Commissioning
3.1 Starting position
•
Insert the pump rod into the holder and carefully move it to the desired position. Connect
the parts with the supplied screw and nut and the appropriate tool.
3.2 Lifting the load
•
Make sure that the parking brake is applied and the wheels are locked when lifting the
vehicle. Close the valve. Place the jack under the vehicle. The surface must be firm, straight
and free of oil, grease or other smooth materials. Ensure that the lift is centrally located
under the object.
3.3 Lowering the load
•
Open the drain plug and slowly lower the load. Only when the head of the jack has reached
its lowest point can the jack be pulled out under the vehicle.
